WHERE DID JESUS GO?
By Martha Miranda 1994

All things change, all things end
Nothing stays the same
Day by day, year by year
Nothing stays the same
Every day we fear a thousand different things
And the JESUS we see now
Isn't what He used to be

He's selling silver trinkets and golden baubles
And is offered to get rich
For just some money you can buy
All this JESUS has to give

Where did JESUS go
And who is this JESUS
And where did He come from
And where did the old one go
That I used to know
Tell me where they've laid Him
I just have to find Him
I need Him so
Tell me what they've done with Him
Where did JESUS go?

He's selling silver trinkets and golden baubles
And is offered to get rich
For just some money you can buy
All this JESUS has to give

Where did JESUS go
Who is this JESUS
And where did He come from
And where did the old one go
That I used to know
Tell me where they've laid Him
I just have to find Him
I need Him so
Tell me what they've done with Him
Where did JESUS go?
Where did JESUS go?
Where did JESUS go?

WE CALL OURSELVES CHRISTIANS
By Martha Miranda 1994

We are just like little children
Throwin' stones at all our neighbors
And our friends, and our enemies
We don't even give an enemy something to eat

We are just like little children
Throwin' stones at all the kids
Down the block, because they are black
And our enemies we don't even give them water to drink

We call ourselves Christians
And we turn our heads away
We call ourselves Christians
And all we do is pray
We call ourselves Christians
And we kill our enemies
The naked die
The hungry die
The sick ones die
All men die
We call ourselves Christians
Are we? We call ourselves Christians
And we walk a mile around a neighbor
Just because he's comin' down the street
We're so afraid he's going to ask for something
Maybe something to eat We call ourselves Christians
And we preach to all the sinners
And we tell them they are going down, for sure
We don't even like the way our neighbor mows his grass

We call ourselves Christians
And we turn our heads away
We call ourselves Christians
And all we do is pray
We call ourselves Christians
And we kill our enemies
The naked die
The hungry die
The sick ones die
All men die
We call ourselves Christians
Are we?
The naked die
The hungry die
The sick ones die
All men die
We call ourselves Christians
Well, are we?

SWING DOWN HIS CHARIOT
By Martha Miranda Jan. 1995

On the road from Jericho, heading to Jerusalem
I fell into a ditch along the road
My friends wouldn't help me
My family couldn't help me
Strangers just turned their heads away
Down came a basket swinging deep and wide
Down came a basket swinging side to side
Down came a basket I could crawl inside
And someone lifted me upon the road

I found Him in Jerusalem, naked on the ground He lay
While they pounded nails into His hands
His friends wouldn't help Him
His family couldn't help Him
Strangers just turned their heads away
Swing down His chariot, LORD, swing it deep and wide
Swing down His chariot, LORD, swing it side to side
Swing down His chariot, LORD, take Him inside
And lift Him up to paradise

Swing down His chariot, LORD, swing it deep and wide
Swing down His chariot, LORD, swing it side to side
Swing down His chariot, LORD, take Him inside
And lift Him up to paradise
And lift Him up to paradise
And lift Him up to paradise

NO! NO! NO!
By Martha Miranda 1984

A rose said to the daisy
I don't like my color
Give me all your pretty yellow petals
The rose said to the daisy
I don't like my thorns
Give me all your pretty green stems
No! No! No!
No! No! No!

A man says to his neighbor
I don't like my wife
Give me your pretty young daughter
A man says to his neighbor
I don't like your children
I don't want them playing with mine
No! No! No!
No! No! No! A long time ago
GOD came down to this earth
We hung Him on an ungodly tree
JESUS came to say
What will you do with Me?
What will you do with Me?
Do you love Me?

A woman said to herself
I don't like my husband
So she goes and finds somebody else
A woman said to her child
I can't bear you! I don't want you!
So she gets a knife and cuts it out
No! No! No!
No! No! No! Any day now GOD will come
Back down to this earth
He will come to say
What did you do with me?
What did you do with Me?
There are no more goats
To pin your sins upon
What did you do with Me?
What did you do?
Do you love me?

GOD says to the devil
I don't like your children
I don't want them playing with mine
GOD says to the wicked
You go with the devil
Forever and forever you're not mine
NO! NO! NO!
NO! NO! NO!
NO! NO! NO! NO!

CIRCLES OF TIME
By Martha Miranda 1994

Circles of time.
Circles of time
Forever we live
In the circle of time
What it takes away
It has to bring back around again
We're living in the circle
That great circle of time

I put my hands on his coffin
As we stood beside his grave
A power ran up my arms
Like rolling electric waves
And I knew he was not dead
Even as they laid him in the ground
I said to him, Dear Papa
Time has taken you away
And time will bring you back around

His hands were nailed to the tree
As Christ died for eternity
A cry shook the heavens
As His Father looked down on His Son
All of hell knew He was not dead
Even as they laid Him in the ground
His Father said, JESUS
Time has taken you away
And time will bring you back around

Circles of time.
Circles of time
Forever we live
In the circle of time
What it takes away
It has to bring back around again
We're living in the circle
That great circle of time
Circles of time
Circles of time
Circles of time

DON'T YOU LOVE IT?
By Martha Miranda 1994

A very long time ago
That certain evil one was judged
But it doesn't seem that it's so
He's been gettin' by
Livin' like a hog so high
Fat and sassy sittin' on death's row
Now it's time to finish Calvary

We are in the age of change
Blow the trumpet loud
Don't you dare back up an inch
He's coming in the clouds
Walk it! Talk it! Preach it! Reap it!
There's power in that Name
Teach it! Tell it! Yell it! Shout it!
Satan's goin' down
Don't you love it?
Don't you love it?
Don't you love it?

A very long time ago
The world and all men were set free
But it doesn't seem that it's so
We've been goin' down
Buried in the earth below
Sleepin' just like stones in death's row
Now it's time to finish Calvary

We are in the age of change
Blow the trumpet loud
Don't you dare back up an inch
He's coming in the clouds
Walk it! Talk it! Preach it! Reap it!
There's power in that Name
Teach it! Tell it! Yell it! Shout it!
Satan's goin' down
Don't you love it?
Don't you love it?
Don't you love it?

COME ON UP TO MY HOUSE
By Martha Miranda 1994

Come on up to my house
It's the one on the top of the hill
It's not much to look at, but it's home to me
And you are welcome to all that I have
It cost me so much, but I just had to buy it
It had the most beautiful tree in the world
It cost me so much, and somehow I paid it
I own the most beautiful tree in the world

Come, spread your blanket on the ground
Sit down and rest awhile
Have some cool, pure water
Share a little time with me, neath the tree
There you'll find shelter
You'll find love
But most of all, you will find Me

You can't miss the house on the hill
My name is written there
A nail here, a nail there
It's not much to see, but it's home to Me
I bought Calvary

Just follow the well worn path
You can see the tree a long way off
There are so many friends there you'll want to see
There's Moses, Abraham, David, and many, many, many, many more
But especially, especially Me
You'll find love
You'll find peace
Because you have found Me

Come on up to my house
It's the one on the top of the hill
You cannot miss it! It stands alone!
A nail here, a nail there
In the most beautiful tree in the world
A nail here! A nail there!
A nail here! A nail there!
In the most beautiful tree in the world
Come on up to my house!

WHEELS OF FORTUNE
By Martha Miranda 1994

Wheels of fortune spin around and sparkle just like wine (O yes)
A loaf of bread will buy a ticket
It's not much some how
And Mama's good at sewing patches on my worn out dress (O yes)
But I just wish I had all those dollars
That ole' wheel of fortune gets (O yes)
Children never forget

So Mama and Papa go round and round
Till the mornin' light
And Papa says he'll come right home tonight
And start to do things right
But that ole' wheel of fortune
Just keeps on a spinnin' my Papa around

Wheels of fortune spin around and steal the bread away (O yes)
And make the good men want to play
Instead of going home today
And Mama needs to buy some milk and Joey needs a pair of shoes
But I just wish I had all those dollars
That ole' wheel of fortune gets (O yes)
Children never forget

So Mama and Papa go round and round
Till the mornin' light
And Papa says he'll come right home tonight
And start to do things right
But that ole' wheel of fortune
Just keeps on a spinnin' my Papa around

Children never stay as little children
They grow up and never forget
The nights their Mamas cried
The day their Papas died
And the shoes they never did get

And that ole' wheel of fortune
Just keeps on a spinnin' my Papa around
But that ole' wheel of fortune
Just keeps on a spinnin' my Papa around

THEY'RE ALL COMING BACK
By Martha Miranda 1994

Why do we fear what may come tomorrow?
Who can say what a day will bring?
Why do we cry, when a man dies
As though it will bring him back again, back again?

They're all coming back
All the dead shall rise
There's gonna' be a great celebration
They're all coming back
All the dead shall rise
There'll be no more tears in our eyes
There'll be no loved ones in the graves to cry over

Stand upon the WORD of GOD that cannot fail
Stand upon the power of the LORD
Stand upon the victory day of celebration
Stand upon the coming of the LORD
The coming of the LORD They're all coming back
All the dead shall rise
There's gonna' be a great celebration
They're all coming back
All the dead shall rise
There'll be no more tears in our eyes
There'll be no loved ones in the graves to cry over

SINGING JESUS LOVES ME
Martha Miranda Dec. 1994

I see thousands of little children
Picking flowers in the field
Running out to give them to someone
Up there standing on a hill
All the little animals are gathering
Round and round their little feet
They're all running out together to see
That special One they're going to meet

SINGING JESUS LOVES ME . . OH . . . .
SINGING JESUS LOVES ME . . OH . . . .
SINGING JESUS LOVES ME! He reaches down His mighty arms
And takes them in His care
None of them were wanted down here
But they are all wanted over there

SINGING JESUS LOVES ME . . OH . . . .
SINGING JESUS LOVES ME . . OH . . . .
SINGING JESUS LOVES ME!

Jesus loves me this I know
Jesus loves me this I know . . . . . . . . . . .
