Matt. 3:5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. 13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Righteousness is fulfilled in the baptism, for even Jesus was anointed in the baptism with the fire of the Spirit, showing us those things we must do to fulfil our salvations in Him. We are baptized into repentance, and therefore, in repentance we are also circumcised in the heart and in the Spirit, and there in the baptism, become born again, by the Spirit. Jesus said, for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness.

Matt. 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The first thing that must be done, is teach, teaching all nations, and then baptizing them, AGAIN.......first, teaching all nations, then baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you, were the words of Jesus Christ. This power unto salvation, this baptism, will endure to the end of the world. It does not depart this world. It does not leave this world. It does not escape this world. It does not rapture out of this world. This power shall abide in this world till its ending and the second coming of the LORD Jesus Christ.

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

If a man believe not, and is baptized, he shall damn his own soul. Therefore, did the LORD Jesus say, first, teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teach them. Make them understand what the baptism is. One must believe when baptized. If one believes not when baptized, they shall be damned by becoming trees that bear evil fruit, making manifested their own unclean unbelief, taking the name of the LORD in vain, in a lie, and in purposed deceit.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Unless in baptism a soul is born again by the Spirit, he will not enter into the Kingdom of God. Being baptized is no more effective than circumcision if the spirit and heart are not circumcised by the Spirit of God. Everyone that is born of the Spirit will know he has been born of the Spirit. Therefore, one must believe first, and then be baptized. If one believes not, the Holy Spirit will not circumcise the heart unto salvation, and in vain has that soul been baptized. For the gifts of the Holy Spirit given unto the church to manifest the works of Christ Jesus to the world, are not to be confused with the Spirit that is given in baptism, if it is given. For it is given by GOD without a manifestation to men. For the praise of salvation is not of men, but of GOD. It is in heaven where rejoicing is heard in the salvation of a soul that repenteth. For it is in heaven where it is witnessed. But on earth, one must wait for the fruiting of the tree, whether it be a good tree, or a bad tree. The Spirit of righteousness, the circumcision of the heart and spirit that is given in baptism is given by the Father, for many are called and few are chosen. The gift of salvation is given by election, given by the Father, and not all who call Christ LORD have been given Christ. Not all who are baptized are given Christ.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

The gift of salvation, the gift of righteousness, the gift of the Holy Ghost, is promised to all generations till the ending of the world. First, teach repentance, that no soul take the name of the LORD in vain and suffer the consequences. First teach the seriousness of repentance, the sackcloth of mourning for sin, the sorrowing over sin, that one might truly repent, and honestly believe, and in the baptism of water, receive the gift of life, Jesus Christ, and thereby become born again into His righteousness. For only the pure in heart will receive Christ when baptized, and only the pure in heart without deceit, will be given the gift of salvation.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Now, if one’s sins are not washed away in baptism, if one does not receive the Spirit of Christ, if one does not truly repent, if one takes the baptism with an unworthiness, without repentance, he shall not have his sins washed away, shall not be forgiven his sins, and he shall return to them, and after returning to them, he shall continue in them, and he shall even add unto them, adding sin unto sin, and even become more and more in bondage, and his last state will be worse than his first. For no liar shall inherit the Kingdom of God, as written. To desire to escape from wrath is not enough. To desire to escape damnation is not sufficient. To desire physical healing is certainly an inadequate qualification for salvation. To desire not to die is of little consequence. To desire to live forever is not consequential. To desire to be delivered of a sin is of no value whatsoever. The only thing that qualifies one to receive Christ is the desire to be delivered and healed of all and every sin, great and small, all sin, every sin, every sin of the mind, every sin of the heart, every sin of the flesh, every sin of the soul and every sin of the spirit. For he who is guilty of the least is guilty of the greatest, as written. The only thing that is of value is righteousness. For Jesus said, First, seek ye righteousness, and the Kingdom of GOD, FIRST! One must not first seek healing, or eternal life, or immortality, or to escape hell, or to flee wrath, or even to escape judgment. One must first seek, righteousness. One must first hunger for righteousness. One must first thirst for righteousness. Then through repentance and baptism, shall Christ be given. And, Christ is life. Christ is eternal life. Christ is immortality. Christ is wisdom. Christ is truth. Christ is power. Christ is the Voice of the Father given. And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Rom. 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

In baptism is Christ given, and in baptism is the flesh crucified of its sins, and made clean, and in baptism is the soul forgiven its passions and lusts toward sin, and made clean, and in baptism is the heart circumcised, and made clean, and in baptism are the eyes circumcised, and made clean, and in baptism are the ears circumcised, and made clean, and in baptism is the mouth circumcised, and made clean, and in baptism is the spirit circumcised, and made clean. For in baptism are we made dead to sin, and in baptism are we born again and made alive. In baptism do we die in Christ and in baptism are we made to rise again in Christ, born again, born anew, dead in sin and alive to righteousness, all in the new birth of the baptism, being circumcised all together through by Christ, circumcised in the body, circumcised in the soul, circumcised in the spirit, being made whole, cleansed, regenerated, and born from above, by the Spirit of God, in the baptism and through the baptism.

1st Cor. 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. The Spirit of Christ is One Spirit. The nation of Israel was baptized unto Moses. In the name of Moses was the nation of Israel baptized, but the Spirit was the Spirit of Christ. The cloud was the Spirit of Christ. The nation of Israel went through the sea, passed through the sea, and was baptized in the cloud, covered by the Spirit of Christ through the sea, and drank of that Spirit, that Spirit of Christ that followed them and covered them, being even then covered in the baptism of the Spirit and the water, that they perished not. Ex. 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

They walked through the sea, covered by the cloud, the Spirit of Christ. After the nation of Israel walked through the sea, the armies of Pharaoh followed the children of Israel through the sea, and GOD caused the wheels of the chariots to break off of the chariots and lodge in soft ground, and all the horses, and all the horsemen, and all the host of the Egyptians, followed the children of Israel into the sea, the wall of water on the right and left being restrained by the Spirit of GOD. Ex. 14:26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. The Spirit of GOD departed the waters and folded Himself into a covering over Israel and the waters violently came back together and fell upon all the Egyptians, baptizing them unto death in the water, the water becoming their damnation. For the Spirit of Christ that saved Israel in the waters, had departed the waters, and the baptism that saved Israel in the waters, became then the baptism of death upon those who believed not. For the baptism is but water, and the water without the Spirit of Christ does not save. It is the Spirit that saves. The water profits nothing without the Spirit of Christ entering into it. Then does it work the work of salvation.

lst Cor. 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. God’s Spirit is one Spirit. God’s Spirit is not divided. Righteousness is not divided. Christ is not divided. The Spirit of GOD is not divided. Therefore the Father is righteous, the Son is righteous, the Holy Ghost is righteous, and they are One Righteousness. The gifts of the Spirit of GOD are diversified, and are many, but the Spirit of GOD is One Spirit, working all things through the power of His righteousness.
