Psalm 120

1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. 2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. 3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? 4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. 5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! 6 My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. 7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.

KEY . . . I have known treachery and treason to be companions of those who speak peace, and those who speak of friendships, and those who speak good. I have known of deceit and lies to be in the hearts of the faithless who count themselves faithful. They are faithful to their own causes, and lie deceitfully concerning what those causes are, deeming and feigning that they are for a common cause, or for my cause, and my purposes, and my field of grape vines. They want the grapes without the digging, and they want the wine without the treading, and they want the fields without the casting out of the stones, and they want the increase without the pains and sufferings of droughts, and storms, and pests in the vines. They want but the highest seat of honour at the expense and at the cuts and bruises of their friends who labour in the rains and tempests, and who cast out the stones and who prune the vines and who gather in the grapes and tread the precious wine that it is stored for the gathering of the saints. Yes, I have known treachery and as I have dusted their filth from my garment and gone on as the truth is pressing onward, I shall go upward, and they shall go downward. They shall return to dust and I shall be turned into Spirit. They shall not reap what I have sown. Nor shall they gather what they have not laboured to gain. Mercy is appointed to the labourers of the vineyard and wrath to those who sit on its perimeter holding up their glasses to be filled. Idle chatterers are they, slothful workers are they, lazy and consumed with the flesh are they, and the field shall be gathered and harvested and they left to glean the fields, finding not even one grape that the LORD has left behind. They shall seek and not find, be thirsty and not drink, be hungry and not be fed, and knock and the door shall be shut. So is the portion of those who forsake the appearing of the LORD of glory, making light of His coming.

Psalm 121

1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

KEY . . . . . If the LORD lifts not up a standard against iniquity, it shall not be lifted up. If the LORD keeps not His saints, they shall not be kept. If the LORD delivers not from evil, no man is delivered. And if the LORD preserves not the soul, it is not preserved. And if the LORD comes and finds His servants in the world dancing, and singing, and making merry, and marrying and giving in marriage, surfeiting and gluttoning, shall there be mercy in the corner of their ring, or shall there be no cold water for their tongue in the fight, or a cool cloth for their brow? When the bell rings, shall they be thrown into the ring without strength for the battle, without knowledge for the fight, without washed eyes that they might see the enemy, defeated by the first blow and be left without thought and without strength and without even light? or shall they in that unknown moment receive power and mercy? Is preparation for the battle to be found in a book that is completed? or is preparation for the battle to be found in those things that are yet to be completed, being seen only by the eyes of faith? For the battle is not only not over, it is not yet begun, and is not yet fought. For those who are of the preparation, those who are of the watch, do not stand upon those things that have been done, or those things that are, but stand upon those things that are coming. For as the rising of the sun is sure, the coming to pass of all things is more sure. For if the seen is sure, those things that are not yet seen are more sure. And if those things that are not yet seen are measured by those things that are seen, most assuredly, every soul should prepare his own garment with urgency seeing as the ending of all things are upon the world. Talk of peace? There will be no peace till Israel repents. Talk of Israel’s repentance? Why should she repent? and for what should she repent? She deems herself no transgressor. Talk of peace? There will be no peace till the Gentile repents. Talk of the Gentile’s repentance? Why should she repent? and for what should she repent? She deems herself no transgressor. And the salvation of God is for the transgressor, and He can find no transgressors. Therefore salvation passes over the world and her ending comes upon her as a woman in travail, and she knew not her own conception. She shall burst forth her own wrathful destruction as a child tearing the body to many pieces on its entrance, and once birthed, there is no going back into the womb to have it aborted in its form before it comes to birth.

Israel shall see her own judgment turn her to repentance. The Gentile shall curse God in her own judgment and shall repent for nothing. It is so written, she shall fall in a great falling and there shall be no remedy for her falling, nor any help from any in her demise. The Gentile has left the vineyard of purity for the sour wine that is contaminated. She is drunk and the world drunk with the wine of her fornication, greed. She has had an escape and refused her escape rather choosing to demand a holy God to overlook her transgressions using as a cloak blindness and lack of reasoning. Because she has polluted the Word with her filthiness’, she deems she shall see no judgment. Alas, her judgment is beforehand told of her. Those she has deceived shall hate her and bring her down to the dust in but one hour. The Word does not lie, nor does the Word deceive any. Neither can any deceive the Word. Woe unto those who attempt to do so. So the promise to the holy is still yes and amen. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Psalm 124

1 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; 2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: 3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: 4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: 5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. 6 Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. 7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken and we are escaped. 8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

KEY . . . . I have come to know that when the powers of hell assail, an angel is ever near to lift a shield against the arrows of death that are sent to bring me down to the dust. Today there were many arrows of death that came flying from the air and from men to destroy those things that the LORD has wrought. For if I am destroyed, the things the LORD has wrought in and through me shall also be cast aside as nothing to be inquired after or sought after. And if I am brought down, the work is also down and shall perish. So if the LORD is not on the side of the anointed, there is no help for them from men, or from substance, or from the elements of this world and this life. Flesh fails and is weak, and falls at the ending of every day in exhaustion, while the powers of darkness never falter nor weaken nor have their strengths abated in battle. Nor does satan have to seek far for others when his workers fail, or fall, or are weak or infirmed. He has many to call together, and many added to many every day, and when one assault is finished, another is already prepared to make its mark, and when that mark is marked, then yet another and another arrow has already left his bow. While yet one arrow is still in the air another is shot. And while arrows abide in the quiver are their missions being plotted and mapped. Our lives are hidden in our God, and though they are hidden from our eyes, we are not hidden from our Father’s eyes, and though He is hidden from our eyes, the forces at work in our behalf are seen visibly through the downfalls of those forces that are sent against us for destruction, enemy upon enemy being brought down into the silence of the grave, and when certain destruction was upon us, victory stood against the destruction and came from out of nowhere. In the face of victory is the spoil of the enemy seen and visible. For the victory is the LORD’s! Is not the battle therefore, His also? Of what then, should we fear, seeing that both the battle and the victory are the LORD’s? Seeing therefore, that God is for us, there is none against us that shall not also be His target for destruction. So we tend therefore to those things that have been entrusted to us to tend to, and let God do what He must do, we walking a wide circle around His arena and area lest we meddle and be caught in the destruction of our own enemies through meddling in God’s labours. When He sends a lightning bolt upon your enemies, do not try to catch it or warn them of its departure from His hand, lest you anger Him and He leave you to your own battles.
