I'LL NOT FORGET YOU
By Martha Miranda © 1994

I remember when the rains
The rains came down
Forty days and forty nights
The water, the water came down
Noah floated on the sea
Till GOD remembered him
Noah would still be floating there
If GOD had forgotten

I remember all the dead are lying in the ground
Since the world began
They've been buried in the ground
The dead shall sleep in the ground
Till GOD remembers them
Forever they'll sleep in the ground
If GOD don't remember

I neglect you sometimes
I heard GOD say
Sometimes I neglect you
But I shall remember you
I shall not forget you
I shall not forget you
It is still written
That I remembered Noah
And it is still written
That I remembered my SON!

I remember JESUS
When the blood came running down
I remember JESUS
When they laid Him in the ground
And I remember how it's written
Why did you forsake Me?
He would still be in the ground
If GOD had forgotten

I neglect you sometimes
I heard GOD say
Sometimes I neglect you
But I shall remember you
I shall not forget you
I shall not forget you
It is still written
That I remembered Noah
And it is still written
That I remembered my SON!
I neglect you sometimes
I heard GOD say
Sometimes I neglect you
But it is still written
That I remembered my SON
I'LL REMEMBER YOU!

SING HOSANNA TO THE BREAD
By Martha Miranda © Jan. 1995

I heard a saying a long time ago
About the Kingdom of heaven
Of how a woman took three measures of meal
And brought the Kingdom down to men

I've even read it in the Bible
They're even the words Jesus said
Of how a woman took three measures of meal
And brought the Kingdom down to men

A measure of wheat and corn and oats
A measure of oil and wine
A measure of honey to make it sweet
The Word and the Spirit divine

There is a saying written down
About a pure white stone
There is a hidden manna
That has come down to make us whole

Three measures of meal anointed with life
Wipes all pain and death away
A woman took three measures of meal
And made men a living bread

The manna from heaven has come down
Three measures of meal for the asking
No hunger nor thirst nor death nor pain
Can touch your heavenly body

That which is dying shall now not die
That which is dead shall live
A woman took three measures of meal
And made men a Living Bread

A measure of wheat and corn and oats
A measure of oil and wine
A measure of honey to make it sweet
The Word and the Spirit divine

Anoint your eyes with salve that you might see
Anoint your ears with truth that you might hear
Anoint your heart with purity,
Your mind with humility
O sing Hosanna to the Living Bread
O sing Hosanna
SING HOSANNA TO THE BREAD
SING HOSANNA TO THE BREAD

I WANT THE NEW WINE
By Martha Miranda © 1995

Tell me what you want me to be
Tell me what you want me to do
Tell me where you want me to go
Tell me what you want me to know

I want the new wine, pour it down
I want the new wine, fill me up and over
I am thirsty, I'm crying, I'm hungry, I'm dying
I want the new wine
Pour it down, fill me up, flow it over

Tell me anything, I'll believe it
Tell me everything, I'll believe it
If you said it, I'll believe it
If you say it, I'll believe it

I want the new wine, pour it down
I want the new wine, fill me up and over
I am thirsty, I'm crying, I'm hungry, I'm dying
I want the new wine
Pour it down, fill me up, flow it over

If it's not what I've heard men say, I'll believe it
If it's not what I have learned, I'll believe it
It does not matter, if you say it, I'll believe it
Tell me everything, I'll believe it

I want the new wine, pour it down
I want the new wine, fill me up and over
I am thirsty, I'm crying, I'm hungry, I'm dying
I want the new wine
Pour it down, fill me up, flow it over

I want the new wine, pour it down
I want the new wine, fill me up and over
I am thirsty, I'm crying, I'm hungry, I'm dying
I want the new wine
Pour it down, fill me up, flow it over

I want the new wine
Pour it down, fill me up, flow it over
I want the new wine

EMPTY WHITE PAGES
By Martha Miranda © 1995

Seconds tick away one second at a time
Hours come and go one hour at a time
Days spin on by one day at a time
Leaving emptied white pages

Years pass us by one day at a time
Life passes by one day at a time
Time itself dies one day at a time
Leaving emptied white pages

Before the world was made
There were just empty white pages
After the world is all over
There'll be just emptied white pages of time

No more babies born
No more souls die
No more will laugh
No more will cry
No more planting for a harvest
Emptied white pages of time

In the beginning there was the WORD
And the WORD was with GOD
And the WORD became flesh
And JESUS dwelt with us

JESUS filled up all the pages
From the beginning to the end
After His words are all over
There'll be just emptied white pages of time

Seconds tick away one second at a time
Hours come and go one hour at a time
Days spin on by one day at a time
Leaving emptied white pages

Years pass us by one day at a time
Life passes by one day at a time
Time itself dies one day at a time
Leaving emptied white pages
No more babies born
No more souls die
No more will laugh
No more will cry
No more planting for a harvest
Emptied white pages of time

WAKE UP THE SPARROWS
Martha Miranda © 1995

Joy is in the holy City
Joy is in the temple of GOD
Joy is in the streets of the City
Joy is in the hearts of men
For a little child shall lead them
A little child shall come down
A little child promised from above
Shall descend like a lonely dove
Seeking the nest of his youth
Seeking the mother of his birth
Looking for the sparrows in the nest
Sleeping in the tree of life

Breathe dear Father on the Tree of Life
Wake the sleeping sparrows
Shake that ole Tree of Life
Breathe upon the sparrows
Breathe upon the sparrows sleeping silently
Sleeping silently in that ole Tree of Life
Breathe upon the sparrows
Breathe your Name on them

Wake the sleeping sparrows
Breathe on the Tree of Life
Wake the sleeping sparrows
Breathe your Name on them

Breathe dear Father on the Tree of life
Wake the sleep sparrows
Shake that ole Tree of Life
Breathe upon the sparrows
Breathe upon the sparrows sleeping silently
Sleeping silently in that ole Tree of Life
Breathe upon the sparrows
Breathe your Name on them

YOU ARE THE SUNSHINE
By Martha Miranda © 1995

You are the sunshine of my life
A candle in the dark night
You're the artist that paints an autumn sky
You're a mighty big GOD. Who am I?

You're the sparkle in a dying saints eye
The listener of my silent falling tears
When there is no one around to carry my load
Your presence lifts my burden. Who am I?

The whispering wind echoes a heavenly name
My lips sing the song of a dove
The whole creation speaks the glory of a GOD
O to see you, that is the hope of my life

You're a mighty big GOD. Who am I?
That you should grace me with your presence, GOD divine
You're a mighty big GOD. Who am I?
That you can love me so, and for me died

You are the sunshine of my life
A candle in the dark night
You are the sunshine of my life
You are the sunshine of my life!

SPEAK MY NAME
By Martha Miranda © Jan. 1995

Speak my name to the wind
And it will obey you
Speak my name to the water
And it will turn into wine
Speak my name to the dead
And they will rise up and live
But speak my name to the living
And they will not hear

They will not hear
They will not hear
They will not hear
They will not hear
Speak my name to the dead
And they will rise up and live
But speak my name to the living
They will not hear

Speak my name to the devils
And they will obey you
Speak my name to death
And it will run away
Speak my name to the angels
And they will take care of you
Speak my name to the living
And they will not hear

They will not hear
They will not hear
They will not hear
They will not hear
Speak my name to the dead
And they will rise up and live
But speak my name to the living
They will not hear

They will not hear
They will not hear
They will not hear
They will not hear
Speak my name to the dead
And they will rise up and live
But the living
They will not hear
Speak my name . . . .Speak my name. . . .
Speak my name . . .Speak my name . .

MY EYES ARE ON JESUS
By Martha Miranda © 1994

Looking far behind me at the places I've been
I wouldn't want to go back to anyone of them
Looking at the sorrows I've left behind
I wouldn't want to go through those again

My eyes are on JESUS
My eyes are on JESUS
He's taken all my sorrows
He's taken all my heartaches
He's taken all my teardrops and hidden them in Him
And looking at the place where I am going
I won't go through those things again

Looking far behind me at the nails in the cross
I think about how JESUS had to die all alone
Looking at the sorrows that He left behind
He won't have to go through those things again

His eyes were on His Father
His eyes were on His Father
He took away His sorrows
He took away His heartaches
He took away His teardrops and hid them in Him
Looking at the place He was going
He won't have to go through those things again

My eyes are on JESUS
My eyes are on JESUS
He's taken all my sorrows
He's taken all my heartaches
He's taken all my teardrops and hidden them in Him
And looking at the place where I am going
I won't go through those things again
My eyes are on JESUS
My eyes are on JESUS
My eyes are on JESUS
My eyes are on JESUS

HE LOVES ME NOT
By Martha Miranda © 1995

Eve used to sit in the garden
Staring up at the fruit on the tree
Why can't I eat that fruit?
Why doesn't GOD love me?
Eve was talking to the devil
They decided it would be okay
So what? GOD wouldn't know
If she ate the fruit anyway

He loves me! He loves me not!
He loves me! He loves me not!
He loves me! He loves me not!
So what?

Eve decided she was going to eat some
And the fruit it tasted so sweet
She ate it and it didn't
Seem to hurt her at all
So she took some fruit home to Adam
He saw that she was quite all right
So what?
Adam decided GOD must have changed His mind

Adam and Eve had a party
Eating fruit from the forbidden tree
Suddenly they heard a voice calling
Adam where are you?
Your so what has come now to ask you
Why have you disobeyed Me?
Your so what has cost you your life now
You're the one who does not love Me!

He loves me! He loves me not!
He loves me! He loves me not!
He loves me! He loves me not!
So what?

LOVE, YES
By Martha Miranda © 1995

Sometimes it seems like I am never going to make it
Sometimes it seems like my cross is just too heavy
Sometimes it seems like my prayers are just like bubbles in the air
Then I hear a voice float down from somewhere up there

Love, yes, always, yes, forever, yes!
Love, yes, always, yes, forever, yes!

Sometimes it seems like we're the only ones who suffer
Sometimes it seems like we're the only ones who care
Sometimes it seems like we're the only ones who are working
Then we hear a voice float down from somewhere up there

Love, yes, always, yes, forever, yes!
Love, yes, always, yes, forever, yes!

Sometimes it seems like JESUS is just another lovely dream
Sometimes it seems like I'm just going to die without Him
And sometimes it seems like the Father's love pours down into my soul
Then I send back the words to somewhere up there
Love, yes, always, yes, forever, yes!
Love, yes, always, yes, forever, yes!

THE CLOCK IN THE HOLE
Martha Miranda © Jan. 1995

Tick-tick-tock, the clock won't stop
Tick-tick-tock, the payments won't stop
Tick-tick-tock, the wrinkles won't stop
How I hate the sound of the clock
Down in the hole just a tickin' away
That ole' clock just drives me crazy
No mercy, it has no mercy for my soul

Tick-tick-tock, race against the clock
Runnin' around all day
Tick-tick-tock, the clock won't stop
Tickin' all my life away
That ole' clock just drives me crazy
No mercy for my soul
I can't outrun the tick-tick-tock
Down in the bottomless hole

Tick-tick-tock, and a baby is born
Tick-tick-tock, he soon is old
Tick-tick-tock, he's down in the hole
The clock looks back at the pages
Of his life all turned over and gone
That ole' clock just took it all away
It had no mercy. It had no mercy for his soul

Tick-tick-tock, race against the clock
Runnin' around all day
Tick-tick-tock, the clock won't stop
Tickin' all my life away
That ole' clock just drives me crazy
No mercy for my soul
I can't outrun the tick-tick-tock
Down in the bottomless hole
I can't outrun the tick-tick-tock
Down in the bottomless hole

Tick-tick-tock, the clock won't stop
Tickin' in the bottomless hole
Tick-tick-tock, the clock gets us all
Down in the bottomless hole
Tick-tick-tock, the clock won't stop
Tick-tick-tock, the clock won't stop . . . . . . . . . .
