Chapter 23 Beware the Idol of Lukewarm

If we believe the words of men, we will glide through this life believing in Jesus Christ, and come to the ending of it, unsaved, unwashed, uncleansed, unsanctified, and still be filled with the flesh, the world, and the pleasures of it. For the church is stuck on believe and be saved, accept Jesus Christ and be saved. It is in a rut and the rut has become so deep, no one can crawl up out of it into understanding, once they have fallen into it.

For we are warned in the scriptures to leave off repentance and go on into righteousness. Heb. 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit.

If one is unsaved, if one needs the principles, if a door is opened to preach salvation to the lost, these things are preached. Absolutely nothing takes the pre-eminence above righteousness, nothing!

We must become sanctified. Sanctification is not a suit of clothing one puts on. It is not a gift that is given. It is a warfare that is fought for with every breath, and with every thought, and with every intent of the heart. Jesus said, I sanctify myself. It is an act of the will.

John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

We are sanctified through the truth. A lie shall sanctify no one. We are sanctified by God the Father Jude 1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:. . . . .

We become preserved in Jesus Christ through becoming sanctified. Being sanctified by the Father creates us into sons and daughters of God. John 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

Sanctify means to set apart, to name, to anoint, to separate from, to call attention to, to make to have dominion. To sanctify means to become as, to become one with, to become as or seed off from.

John 17:16,17 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Those that are sanctified by the Father obey Him with every thought, word and deed. Sanctification does not try to change the mind of God. It delights in obeying the will of God. Sanctification thrives on hardships, thrives on sufferings, thrives on strivings, and thrives on persecutions. The harder the winds blow, the faster the sail expands and propels the boat. The harder the winds blow the more bend in the tree. The harder the winds blow, the more withstanding is erected against it. The harder the winds blow, the harder you blow against the winds. The more severe the persecution, the more powerful you are against the foe, they seeing you as an enemy to be reckoned with of great power. To be sanctified is to be set apart from one’s very own flesh. For the flesh is the flesh and the spirit is the spirit. How do you separate the two one from the other?

The flesh hates everyone, everything, and even its own existence, and is filled with barbs and ants and gnats and serpents that begat within themselves all of these carnal sufferings and pains. Now, if these things are not bridled every day, every single day, you shall die in that day in the which you are not born again. The Apostle Paul said, I die daily. He was saying, I am born again every single day, every day, every single day, born again, and again, and again, every single day. The flesh is always wanting to touch and be touched. So then, what do you do with a flesh that desires only sin and touching and affection? What is to be done with it? It must be born again every single day into the flesh and the mind of Christ Jesus. It cannot be fed any of its sins or lusts, or it will produce death, damnation, and judgment. Every day is the day of salvation.

Chapter 23 Beware the Idol of a Lie

Beware those who declare you need not be perfect, for all sin. No, not all sin. The sanctified do not sin, for they are sanctified unto Christ and the Father. To declare that all sin is declaring that Christ sins and the Father sins. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Yet, those God calls, He also justifies; He also sanctifies, and He also glorifies. And that glorification is His righteousness.

We should be living from the neck up daily, and dying from the neck down daily. In other words, make it a practice to live in the head, for the Spirit is in the mind. Only with the mind can you serve Christ Jesus. Only with the mind can you be holy, for the mind is what disciplines the body and the soul, and cleanses the carnal spirit of man, and the heart as well. You cannot follow after your heart, for the hearts of all flesh are deceitfully wicked. Who can know them? Only the head, the mind, the mind of Christ, the holy helmet of salvation, the pure mind.

From the neck down we walk in the flesh, in the bondage of the law of sin. From the neck down, we function according to feelings, and from the neck up according to the spirit of wisdom. It is in the mind that the righteousness of Christ is formed. We cannot follow the flesh, nor the will of the flesh, nor the will even of our own hearts that seem to be so right sometimes. For is not love in the heart? Should we not therefore follow after the heart? seeing as we love or hate with the heart? Quite the contrary. That is all the more reason we cannot follow after our own hearts. The mind neither loves nor hates. The mind is pure. The mind is the mechanics of purity. The mind holds salvation. If the mind is not saved, none of the body, soul or spirit is saved. For it is with the mind alone that we are worshippers of God.

You can listen to the whimperers all the day long, crying loud cries and prayers, and professing with great tears that they love God. They cry they do not want to be the way they are, sinful and rebellious and followers of sins. They really love God, they say. No, they do not. For love is an act of the will of the mind. That is where the love of God is manifested, in the will of the mind, in the obedience of the purity of the mind. That is where love is pure, in the mind. The cry babies live from the neck down. The cry babies walk in the neck down salvation. The cry babies walk in the flesh and in the desires and weaknesses and wants of the flesh, and cry, and cry, and cry, always crying, I am sorry, filled with miseries from the neck down. The saved and the anointed walk in the mind, live in the mind, love with the mind. Their communion with God and with Christ is in the mind. One becomes saved when the mind becomes saved.

If you love God with the heart only, and not also with the mind, you shall sin against men with every thought, and even in the name of Christ and in the works of Christ, you will do evil unto men. So the scriptures say, Love the Lord your God with all your mind, and all your strength, and all your heart, and all your soul. Now, if you love God with anything less than obedience, you do not love Him at all, but deceive yourself. Where does obedience come from? the mind, only from the mind! Therefore, where does rebellion come from? the mind, only from the mind!

Those who are not led by the Spirit of Christ, the mind of Christ, have not Christ. The mind of Christ is that obedience that saves. The lukewarm walk always in the neck down and the emotions and feelings of the body and the flesh. They do not walk in the Spirit of God and in the mind of Christ, for that is what walking in the Spirit is, walking in the pure mind of Christ, obedience perfected! It is only through the senses of your mind that you will ever become holy and worthy to walk with the Son of Man when He appears!

And that is not a so so salvation. That is a know so salvation. For it is still written, the soul that sinneth, it shall die. And the Word of God endureth forever, even unto the angels, and even unto all created beings, and even unto every living thing that has been created, seen or unseen, forever established; the Word is. Any soul that rebels against the Creator, any created that will not bow to the Creator, shall die, shall perish. Forever is it written down, unto all who have ears to hear with and eyes to see with, unto all the created, Thou shalt worship the Lord GOD, and Him only obey, and Him only bow down to, or perish. Forever and ever and evermore, is this law established and shall not be repented of nor changed.
