Chapter 4 WHAT IS BLIND?
When Jesus said the blind follow the blind, what did He mean? And when Jesus said, the blind lead the blind, what did He mean? For when one follows Jesus, that word, follow, means to be going somewhere, to be traveling somewhere, meaning that Jesus is ever moving on and we ever following on, ever following, not remaining in one place or one frame of mind or one position, but following on, going on. And if the blind must cause those to follow, what is it that they do that causes the blind to follow after them? What is it they offer?
For we know that Jesus, our LORD, commands us to follow after love, to follow after righteousness, to follow after those things that pertain unto godliness, peace, and love from a pure heart. We who follow after Jesus, are following after repentance, following after eternal life, following after immortality, following after healing for the body, soul and spirit. We strive to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to worship God above all things, with all the heart, mind and soul. We strive to do good unto all men, even forgiving and loving our enemies. We who follow after Christ strive to be everything He was and is, that we ourselves might lead someone else into eternal life and peace.
But the blind, those that follow the blind, and the blind, those that are leading the blind, what is it that they are following after? What is it that they are being led by? When Jesus said to His disciples, Let them be. They be blind leaders of the blind. He was saying, they are not following after Me. Let them be. What then are they followers of?
The scriptures say that satan transforms himself into an angel of righteousness. 2nd Cor. 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
In the beginning of things, when satan tempted Eve and seduced Eve to disobey the Word of GOD, he did not appear to be evil, iniquitous, or wicked. He simply disagreed with the Word of GOD. He did not agree with the Word. Therefore, those that are blind do not agree with the Word of God. Those that lead the blind, do not agree with the Word of God. They may agree with ninety nine percent of it, and disagree over one percent of it, and follow after that which they do not believe, forming their own traditions and doctrines of this world and this underworld kingdom of spirits, and thereby, damn their own selves, and damn those who follow them also. They may agree with fifty percent or sixty percent, and disagree with fifty percent or forty percent, yet are they blinded by their own minds, and hearts, and the deceits of this world and life.
Jesus Himself said one does not have Him until they obey His words. Neither do they have the Father until they obey the words of Jesus Christ. Therefore, those who obey ninety nine percent and disobey even but one percent, shall not be given the Son and the Father.
Jesus said a marvelous thing, saying, All that ever came before me were thieves and robbers. . . . . .John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. 4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. 7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Now, a thief and a robber is one who preaches another gospel. A thief and a robber is one who is himself unclean, having need himself of cleansing and purification. He will steal the Word from you, and slay the Word in you, and destroy the fruits of the Word in you. A thief and a robber forms his or her own opinions concerning doctrine, and follows after the traditions and doctrines of men.
Gal. 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Those that follow other traditions, other doctrines, are accursed children, as written of them.
Jesus said, . . . . . .Matt. 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in. 14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation. 15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
So we see that hypocrites make long prayers. . . .make open public prayers. . . . .their motives being coins, and tithes, and the enlarging of the garments, enlarging their ministries, expanding the globe to make disciples of their traditions and doctrines.
Matt. 23:1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, 2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat: 3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not. 4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. 5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments. 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues.
Now, the ministers and the preachers and teachers and Apostles and Prophets, if they sit in Moses’ seat, if they sit in the Words of Christ, we are to observe all those things that are bid to us to do, if they are from the seat of Christ, from the sayings of Christ, from the words of Christ, from the works of Christ, and from the ministry of Christ. For Jesus said, My yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matt. 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Jesus said . . . . . John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
When the Word of God is spoken, and is sown in our hearts, satan immediately causes us to not understand the Word that is sown in our hearts, and it dies, immediately. Why? Or . . . .the Word is sown in our hearts, and when its severity and its hardness and its disciplines and denials become apparent, our joy is dissipated and we become offended at the Word, and we are unfruitful in its righteousnesses. Or . . . . . .we become concerned about the cares of this life and this world, and concerned about family, and friends, and brethren, and mother and father, and children, and husband and wife, and find that we are unfruitful in obedience to the words of Jesus Christ concerning this carnal life and flesh and world, and we find the path of following after the life in the flesh to be less painful than following after obedience to the word, so we forfeit the fruits of obedience unto righteousness for the ease and comforts of this life and this flesh, and this world.
Now . . . . . . .the other voices . . .the other spirits . . . . . the other sounds. . .the other doctrines. . . . . .they are doctrines of this world, founded on the cares of this life and this flesh. They will say. . . .receive Jesus Christ, and He will heal your marriage. . . . . He will provide you a wife . . He will save your children. . .. He will pay your bills. . .He will bring you a husband . . . .He will do this for you and He will do that for you . . .Just receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and He will give you all things. They fail to tell you, that when you receive Jesus Christ, He receives your life therefore, and will not give it again until the resurrection. They fail to tell you, that when you take Christ, Christ takes you. They fail to tell you, that when you receive Christ, you receive His life, and you lose your own life, and then when you lose your life, He shall restore it again unto you, in the will of GOD the Father, and eternal life as well, that you perish not. Now, seeing as He takes your life, shall He therefore give again that which He takes away? There may be a wife in the will of God, and maybe not. There may be a husband in the will of God, and maybe not. There may be all the blessings of this world in the will of God, and maybe not. There may be children, and maybe not. There may be a house and land, and all things that this carnal life contains, and maybe not. There may be everything, and there may be nothing. All things whatsoever that hinder your salvation, or that hinders His purposes in this world shall be pruned out, and that may be husband, wife, children, mother, father, brethren, ministries, lands, houses, vocations, all things.
The world is a heavy yoke. The flesh is a heavy yoke. The burdens and cares of this life are heavy yokes. Lands and houses and marriages and children and this world, are all, heavy yokes, giving no rest to the soul, no rest to the spirit, no rest to the flesh. Yet, the other gospel promises believers all these yokes once again. After they have been set free from these things, this other gospel snares those once contented in Jesus Christ. Those contented with whatsoever things as they had, those waiting, contented children of God, to these the carnal, worldly, merchandisers of the Kingdom of God, come sowing discord and discontentment in their hearts, and in their churches, and in their faith, and in their substance, producing wantonnesses and discontentments to gain the more.
For as Eve and Adam were in the garden, being contented and at peace with God, came the serpent, the seducing serpent, coming with the guise of righteousness, coming with the cloaking of the Word, coming with the temptation to make Eve and Adam discontented with what God had given them, they being at peace with God over what He had denied them. The serpent sowed division, strife, and discord, through discontentment over what God had denied them. Another gospel. . . .from another mouth. . .and another kingdom, sounding so right, appearing so full of truth, yet being a lie.
2nd Pet. 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. . . . . . .14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; . . . . . . .18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. 21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
And what is this holy commandment? . . . . Matt. 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
Luke 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
Matt. 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Rev. 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev. 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. and let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
The scriptures say . . . .we are to overcome the wicked one . . . .1st John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Here it is written, all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, IS NOT OF THE FATHER, but is of the world. And it is written, that only those that do the will of God abideth for ever, and are given life eternal.
Rom. 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Jesus said, My Kingdom is not of this world. John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. 37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
These that are renegades from the truth, preach another gospel, preach a gospel of this world, one of tithes, and offerings, and gains, and houses, and lands, and marriages, and children, and prosperity. Jesus called these, thieves and robbers. These officiating in the name of Jesus Christ, sit in the temple, sitting in the place of God, making all manners of promises to the children of the Lord, promising all kinds of gifts and gains and rewards, thereby calling themselves God, promising them healings, and deliverances, and even the salvations of their children and their households, all for the giving of tithes and offerings. Something is wrong, very wrong, very, very wrong!
What is blind? Those that are blind are blinded to the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Repent, believe in the Son of God, be baptized for the remission of sin in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, and thou shalt be saved. They add unto the gospel a list of commandments of tithes, and works, and labours, and efforts, and gifts. Paul said it perfectly. Gal. 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
Col. 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21 (touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
Chapter 5 BACK TO THE FIRE
How do we overcome the wicked one? We overcome the wicked one through the power, through the fire. We overcome the wicked one by doing the will of God, by finding the will of God, by living the will of God, and by doing the will of God, enduring to the ending of our lives in this world, in the will of GOD. The world cannot have anything in us. The flesh cannot have anything in us. The spirit, our own lustful spirit, cannot have anything in us. To overcome the world, as Jesus Christ overcame the world, satan can have nothing in us, absolutely, nothing. And by that I mean, we must have no disobedience in us to the sayings and words of Jesus Christ, and we must follow Him as He followed the perfect will of God. It is in the perfect will of God that we are set free from all evil, and delivered of every affliction and where we overcome the wicked one. We must ask, seek, and knock for the will of God to become manifested to us that we might be unblinded and have the pure sight needed to enter into the Kingdom of God.
Matt. 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Jesus said, the pure in heart see God. Therefore, our hearts must be pure toward God, having no other loves except the love of God.
Jesus taught us to pray. Matt. 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Jesus always did the will of God, His Father. We are to be as perfect as He was, to always do the will of God. Is that arrogance? That is necessity, beloved brethren, necessity. It is a commandment. John 1:12 But as many as received him, (Christ Jesus) to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
We are born again by the will of God, and if we must find the Kingdom of God through the will of God, ought we to be seeking the things of the world? the flesh? this life? or ought we to be seeking, and asking, and knocking, and with an unquenchable thirsting and hungering, find the will of God for our own souls? If our own eternal life is found in the will of God alone, ought we to be seeking the will of the flesh, or the will of man, or the will of doctrine, or the will of a church, or the will of any living flesh?
Jesus said . . .John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
Matt. 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Before Jesus had done any work whatsoever in the earth, the Father said concerning His Son, Jesus. Matt. 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Matt. 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
After Jesus was baptized, and the Holy Spirit came upon him, then was Jesus sent into the wilderness to do battle with satan. Beloved, after we repent, after we are baptized, after we receive Jesus Christ, after we receive the fire, after we receive the Spirit, after we are forgiven our former sins, after we come to have our flesh filled with the Spirit of the Living God, after these things, then we enter into battle with satan. When we repent, and when we believe, and when we receive, then are we given the power to become a son or daughter of God, and our first battle will be with our adversary, satan. We must cast down the earthly lord, satan, and overcome him by and through the name of the heavenly Lord, Jesus Christ.
The scriptures say. . . .1st John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Jesus said, the works that I do, ye shall do also. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Now, Jesus here is not speaking of asking the Father for any thing and everything that enters into the imaginations of men’s hearts and minds, all in the name of Jesus Christ. Knowing the iniquity of men’s hearts and knowing the greed of all flesh, God would not say, simply, in my Son’s name ask of me anything at all and everything at all, and I shall do it. Jesus is saying, if you ask any thing of Me that I have done, and have shown you, I shall do it. Again and again, shall I do it, that my Father in heaven shall be glorified. If you ask anything of Me that I have done in the earth, and shown you that I have done, I shall do it for you. All things that I have done, I shall do for you, if you but ask. For Jesus also said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Jesus was speaking about His works, to ask Him to repeat His works, again and again and again, and He would do them, and that these works will endure till the ending of time, as written. Heb. 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. And again is it written . . . . Rev. 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Jesus is the light. Jesus is the only light. All doctrine must be approved by the light. All truth must be examined by the light. Every minister must pass through the light. Every Prophet, every Apostle, every teacher, pastor, evangelist, and even disciple, must pass through the light, both the living and the dead. Daniel did not have the whole light. Ezekiel did not have the whole light. Malachi did not have the whole light. No prophet had the whole light. These but prophesied of the light that was to come, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the light of the world, the true light, and the pure light, and the whole light, and in Him is hidden all the truth and all the doctrine and all the pure Word. So the words of Daniel must pass through the light. The words of Moses must pass through the light. The words of Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Zechariah, Joel, Malachi, all, must pass through the light. It is in the light that those things that were formerly doctrine are now cast aside, and it is in the light that those traditions that were formed are cast out, and it is in the light that those understandings of old are laid aside for the purity of the truth.
For Jesus Himself said . . . . . .Matt. 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
The church therefore, must establish itself, not on doctrines and traditions and understandings of the old testament prophets, but upon the light, upon the doctrines and sayings and understandings of Jesus Christ alone, for it is written, His words alone shall judge the world, all power of judgment having been given unto Him alone.
John 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
God shall do a work of restoration, and shall send the fire of the Spirit into the world, and shall establish a work in righteousness, and do a quick work. And it shall be an unquenchable fire.
1st Cor. 3:10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Heb. 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: 26 Whose voice than shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. 27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Here the Hebrew writer is declaring that those prophecies and doctrines that are from another kingdom, and another lord, and another god, and from the minds of men, and the imaginations of their spirits, shall be removed, they not having come to pass, for when the WORD does come to pass, it by its coming to pass shall cause all those things falsely prophesied to be removed, and those things that have come to pass, shall remain. And all those plants not planted by the heavenly Father, shall be uprooted and cast out, and the tares manifested as tares, those that suck the substance from the wheat.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
The Hebrews writer warns the world, the whole earth, and all flesh, See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they did not escape the wrath of God who refused the words of Christ Jesus when He spake on earth, how much more shall not the world escape if they refuse the One to come from heaven, to speak again, once more, shaking not only the earth, but heaven as well?
Rev. 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. . . . . . . .5 And she brought forth a
man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God,
and to his throne.
And when this One appears, there comes a Kingdom that cannot be moved . . . . .
Rev. 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev. 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Now, no believer could or would dispute the truth that when Christ Jesus walked in the flesh, He also walked in the throne, walked in the power of His Father, walked in the glory of God, walked triumphantly over every power of satan, having power over every sickness, disease, malady, having power over the elements of this world, the winds and waves, having power to create, multiplying the fish and loaves of bread to feed thousands, having the power over every demon from hell, having the power even over death, to raise from death any He chose, as well as raising up His own self from death. He was King. He was Lord. He walked in the throne of God in this earth, and in the power of it.
Therefore, the man child, the offspring of heaven, the bright and morning star, an offspring of the Kingdom of God and of the Lamb, shall be caught up into this power in this earth at His birth, and shall walk in the light and power of it, and it shall be a Kingdom that cannot be moved.
As written by the Hebrew writer . . . . Heb. 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.
This Word, this Prophecy, was yet written in the heavens to be fulfilled in its own time and generation. And it is written of this City . . . . . a Kingdom coming, to keep the children of the LORD, and to deliver them from evil . . . .
Rev. 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name . . . . . . . . . . . . 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
The power of the throne shall descend down to this earth in a mighty whirlwind of fire, and it shall be perfect power, and pure power, and shall be without fault, and shall be the pure gospel of Jesus Christ, given freely and without price, unto the world. It shall not be an image that speaks, for God sent His only begotten Son into the world, not an image, but a Son. God sent flesh and blood into this world, Jesus Christ, and filled that Son of Man with the glory of Himself. And once again, shall GOD send into the world, an Offspring, an Heir, the One sent to do judgment, the One Christ Jesus Himself said would be sent to do judgment.
John 8:49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. 50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth. 51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
The generation that is blessed with the fulfillment of this prophecy of Jesus, that receives this sent One, shall never see death, for immortality comes with this One, and death is done away with.
For it is written. . . . John 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. 27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
Rev. 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
And as written of this One. . . .Heb. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
This One is coming to overcome all things . . . . . . and to fulfill all things . . . . and to inherit all things. . . . and He is a Son, the Offspring, and the Bright and Morning Star, as written of Him. . . . Rev. 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
These things shall be the testimony of the One to come. He is the root. He is the offspring of David. And he is the bright and morning star. The Kingdom of God shall descend down into the world, and shall reap the harvest of souls into the Kingdom, and then shall the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ resurrect the dead into the City, into the Kingdom, and both the living and the dead shall be gathered together into the air, to be forever with the LORD.
1st Thess. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
For there is need to have an understanding of the words of the Apostle Paul in this manner, that we which are alive, and we which remain alive, shall be caught up together with the resurrected dead to meet the LORD Jesus Christ in the air, caught up to forever be with the LORD. We which are alive and we which remain. . . signifying a period of time.
And then we must accept the sober truth, the true and pure truth, the scriptures saying that God shall again a second time, put His hand forth to save His firstborn, Israel.
Isa. 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. 12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
Moses pronounced a prophecy against Israel . . . Deut. 4:26 I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 27 And the LORD shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen, whither the LORD shall lead you. 28 And there ye shall serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell. 29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. 30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice; 31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them. . . . . . . . . 35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. 36 Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire.
Rom. 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
So the Apostle Paul said, that there was a two-fold purpose in Israel’s blindness, one, that the Gentile would enter into the grace of God and be forgiven her sins in Christ, and secondly, that out of the Gentile, would come the second mystery of God, the man-child, the second hand to reach for the nation of Israel. For the man-child comes from the Gentile, and He brings to fulness, the times of the Gentile. For the City of Sion, is the Gentile City, the heavenly City of God, that City that is to come down upon the whole of the earth, in a mighty outpouring of the Spirit of the Living God. And this City sits upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ being the Cornerstone.
There shall come a time when the Kingdom of God shall lay claim to this earth, and to all of its Kingdoms. Jesus said . . .John 18:36 . . . . . . . My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Rev. 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
